Our twin Cybertech 4500MT's, uniquely bring high productivity levels to the heavy-duty cutting of medium to large-sized work pieces for the oil field and energy industries.
Cybertech Turn 4500MT
The Cybertech Turn 4500MT delivers multi-tasking machining and boring of long-shaft materials with a 12-position upper drum turret of turning and milling tools plus an eight-position lower turret of turning tools.
With a 15-inch chuck, maximum swing is 33.8 inches and maximum machining diameter is 31.8 inches for the upper turret and 14.9 inches for the lower. Maximum work piece payload is 1,014 pounds!
A powerful integral 50 HP spindle motor eliminates pulleys and drive belts, and has a maximum spindle speed of 2,400 rpm. Rapid traverse in X is increased to 944 inches per minute versus 787 in the previous model, and rapid traverse in Z is 1,181 inches per minute compared to 944 inches per minute in the earlier version. The upper turret milling spindle has 15-HP output and 3,000-rpm maximum speed. Z-axis thrust in the machine's electric tailstock is a heavy-duty 5,512 pounds. Machine design in the Cybertech Turn 4500MT features convenient operator access to both upper and lower turrets and main spindle. A chip conveyor assures no chip accumulation affects machining accuracy.
Positioning accuracy of the C-axis is outstanding to 0.001-degree increments, approximately eight times more accurate than ISO requirements, due to a patented drop worm shaft.
In addition to conversational programming convenience, the Cybertech Turn's Mazatrol CNC features a new optional integrated threading function.
Programming is also included for negative thread profiles and metal seal profiles.
Other optional features include capacity for two long boring bars (3.1 inch diameter, 39.4 inches long) to be stored in the long boring bar stocker above the tailstock. Deep boring of long work pieces can be performed automatically.
